Fundraising cocktail- The Mwangala Mwenda Foundation hosted a fundraising cocktail, bringing together supporters and friends in a spirit of generosity and community. Through this gathering, we successfully raised funds to provide school books for children enrolled in the Foundation’s scholarship program. The evening was a celebration of shared commitment to education as well as a testament to the collective effort that ensures every child under our care has the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive. 

Kutwano 10km Race- The Mwangala Mwenda Foundation proudly organized a 10km Fun Run, uniting community members in support of education and child development. The event was filled with energy, camaraderie, and purpose, as participants ran not only for fitness but for a cause. Through this initiative, we raised vital funds to provide school uniforms for children benefiting from the Foundation’s scholarship program.

Kutwano High Tea- The Mwangala Mwenda Foundation hosted a delightful High Tea in Lusaka, where friends, supporters, and partners gathered in an atmosphere of elegance and purpose. The event successfully raised funds to provide school books for children supported by the Foundation’s scholarship program. More than just a social occasion, the High Tea reflected the power of community coming together to invest in education, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of the children we serve. 

Kutwano Football Tournament- The Mwangala Mwenda Foundation proudly hosted its annual Kutwano Champions League football tournament, an event that brought together the community in celebration of sport, unity, and purpose. This year’s highlight was the presence of Mr. Christopher Katongo, captain of Zambia’s victorious 2012 Africa Cup of Nations team, who inspired participants by emphasizing the importance of education and the need for children to remain in school. Beyond the excitement on the pitch, the tournament underscored the Foundation’s mission of combining community spirit with educational empowerment.
