Like many schools in Liuwa, Lukena faces challenges of limited infrastructure and teacher accommodation. Through Zambia’s Constituency Development Fund (CDF), schools in the area have begun receiving staff houses and classroom blocks to improve learning conditions. Lukena Primary School is part of this broader initiative aimed at strengthening rural education.
